El Mirador de San Miguel de Allende − the "lookout" − is located on land donated to the city by General Lázaro Cárdenas, bordering the property of tenor Pedro Vargas, on the street formerly known as El Camino Real, which in 1978 changed its name to "Pedro Vargas."
From this vantage point one can see the city in all its splendor: its homes, streets and churches. This is the place to take that spectacular shot of this World Heritage City. Here, we can also appreciate a monument to tenor Pedro Vargas, erected in 1996. This city is a delight to the eye, and its most attractive places are perhaps its unequalled squares and gardens.
