Casa del Mayorazgo

Distinguished manor built in a combination of the Baroque and the neoclassical. It is sometimes called the home of the "Counts of Canal," but wrongly so, since owners Manuel Tomás de la Canal and his son José Mariano de la Canal y Hervás were not noblemen.

Behind an elaborate main door adorned with family coats of arms and reliefs, we find two Corinthian columns, a circular pediment and a capital of the Virgin of Loreto. Other elements such as the hall, the courtyard and the door to the oratory are equally impressive.
